Great initiative guys! Will help the community a lot. Our Income Tax department has been receiving tons of complaints from tax payers. Apparently scamsters have been sending phishing emails to people purporting to be from the IT department and stealing their bank account numbers and passwords. The department estimates several crores have been lost to the scam and the alarming situation has prompted the Central Board of Direct Taxes to issue an advisory on the phishing scam. Guys, please watch out for such emails and be sure not to fall for such scams. Here is the complete article - www.dnaindia.com/money/report-thousands-fall-victim-to-i-t-phishing-scam-2175465

All such fake emails should be reported to incident@cert-in.org.in which is a government of India agency fighting against such threats.
