An internal inquiry by Bank of Baroda (BoB) has found that at least 70 customers from various parts of Uttar Pradesh were duped in March. So far, 373 fraudulent transactions have been detected, which means this could be the biggest cyber heist in our country. After breaching the bank's network, the hackers started making transactions of around 5000 each and multiple transactions were made from each account. In all cases the transactions have been facilitated through a Chinese payment gateway.
