Here are some tips to enhance your Gmail account security -

Turn on 2-Step Verification. This will send OTP to your phone in addition to password when you try to log in

Use HTTPS - instead of using www.gmail.com type www.gmail.com into your browser for safe browsing. The extra “S” stands for Secure.
